Olivia Rebboah   -

Day 1: God Goes Before You

Scripture: “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:8
Reflection: Even when surgery didn’t go as planned, I realized God was already there, preparing the way. He goes before us in every trial.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for walking ahead of me. Help me trust that You have prepared the path even when I cannot see it.

Day 2: His Strength in Our Weakness

Scripture: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
Reflection: When I couldn’t stand on my own, God’s strength held me up. Our weakness becomes the very place where His power shines.
Prayer: God, I surrender my weakness to You. Let Your strength be my foundation today.

Day 3: Peace in the Chaos

Scripture: “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:7
Reflection: Chaos surrounded me, but God’s peace filled me in the hospital room. His peace doesn’t depend on circumstances—it comes from His presence.
Prayer: Father, cover my heart and mind with Your peace that passes all understanding.

Day 4: God’s Arms Carry Us

Scripture: “He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart.” — Isaiah 40:11
Reflection: When I couldn’t carry myself, God carried me and my family. His arms never grow tired, and His heart never lets us go.
Prayer: Lord, carry me when I can’t walk on my own. Hold me close to Your heart.

Day 5: Hope in the Valley

Scripture: “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” — Psalm 23:4
Reflection: Valleys are real—fear, pain, uncertainty—but so is God’s presence. Even in the darkest moments, He is with us.
Prayer: Jesus, remind me that I never walk through valleys alone. Your presence is my hope.

Day 6: God Provides Community

Scripture: “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
Reflection: From meals to prayers to visits, God answered my cry for community through His people. We were never meant to walk alone.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for surrounding me with others who lift me up. Help me also carry others’ burdens.

Day 7: Small Victories Matter

Scripture: “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” — Zechariah 4:10
Reflection: Standing for 30 seconds, completing a workout, or learning adaptive driving—all small victories that reminded me God delights in progress.
Prayer: Father, help me celebrate small steps, knowing You rejoice over each one.

Day 8: God’s Faithfulness Never Changes

Scripture: “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” — Lamentations 3:22–23
Reflection: Each new morning in rehab reminded me that His mercy is fresh. God’s faithfulness does not depend on my situation.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for mercies new every morning. Let me wake each day with trust in Your faithfulness.

Day 9: God Turns Trials into Testimonies

Scripture: “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” — Revelation 12:11
Reflection: My wheelchair, my scars, my setbacks—none are wasted. God is turning this trial into a testimony of His power and grace.
Prayer: Jesus, use my story for Your glory. Let others see Your goodness in my life.

Day 10: God is Always Enough

Scripture: “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” — Psalm 23:1
Reflection: Even in chaos, even in pain, I’ve learned this truth: Jesus is enough. His presence satisfies, sustains, and secures us.
Prayer: Lord, You are all I need. Thank You for being enough in every season.
