NextGen Student Ministries
NextGen is the place where students can come to connect with each other and God. We gather for weekly youth group on Sunday nights. We also have activities throughout the year where our students and leaders can build relationships and have fun. NextGen is family. Come join us!

What's Being Taught!
Here is what we will be discussing with yours students in January!
The Bridge (5-6th)
Series: Game Plan
Series Description: Practicing something every day helps you learn how to do it better. When we follow Jesus and actually live out the things we hear and learn, the Holy Spirit helps our faith grow.
Memory Verse: Training the body has some value. But being godly has value in every way. It promises help for the life you are now living and the life to come. (1 Timothy 4:8, NIrV)
Middle School (7th-8th)
Series: The Originals
Series Description:
When God made you, He didn’t mass-produce you. He formed you, fearfully and wonderfully, as His own masterpiece. The world will tell you that you’ve got to copy someone else to fit in — wear their armor, chase their standard, live their story. But God says you belong as you are, because He made you on purpose. And when you live as His original, you discover what His Word has always said: You are chosen, created, and never alone. Our prayer is that students will see it, feel it, and believe it—they are chosen, created, and never alone.
Memory Verse: For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10 NIV).
High School (9th-12th)
Series: VRFD
Series Description:
Everywhere students look, someone’s asking them to prove who they are—through likes, achievements, or belonging to the right crowd. But God already knows and verifies their worth. This series helps students trade the pressure to perform for the peace of being known and loved by the One who made them. Our prayer is that by the end of this series, students will find their confidence not in what others say, but in who God says they are.
Memory Verse: For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10 NIV).
NextGen Events 2026
High School Mission Trip 2026
Attention High Schoolers! We are going on a mission trip where we will demonstrate Jesus’ love and compassion in tangible ways, serving real people in need while working on projects like building wheelchair ramps and handrails, weatherizing homes and trailers, reconstructing sagging porches, significant painting projects, interior and exterior carpentry, and other home repair projects that the homeowner cannot otherwise complete.
Desperation Conference 2026
Attention incoming 8th grade students and up! If you want to go to a worship filled weekdays with amazing bands and awesome speakers, this is the event for you! We will be staying in a hotel for two nights and coming back late on July 9th.
Middle School Mission Trip 2026
Attention Middle School we will be participation in a Week of Hope mission trip! Students come alongside seasoned local ministries and nonprofits to make a lasting difference through meaningful community service. They’ll learn Christ-like empathy and compassion for others as they meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of disadvantaged children, youth, and adults.
NextGen Compassion Sponsorship
We want our students to develop generosity and believe that generosity takes practice. NextGen wants to provide a space for this. Every week at youth group we will receive an offering. In addition to giving in-person the students can also give online. Use the "other" category to give.
NextGen sponsors in Guatemala through Compassion International: Carlos. Our weekly giving will go towards the on-going sponsorship of Carlos.
