NextGen Student Ministry

NextGen Student Ministries

5th - 12th Grade

NextGen is the place where students can come to connect with each other and God. We gather for weekly youth group on Sunday nights. We also have activities throughout the year where our students and leaders can build relationships and have fun. NextGen is family. Come join us!

The Bridge (5-6th)

Series: Frequency

Series Description: In September, kids will explore “Frequency: Learning to Hear from God,” discovering that God wants to speak to them and that they can learn to recognize His voice. Through the story of Samuel, they’ll see that they don’t have to wait until they’re older to hear from God and can begin building that relationship with Him now. As kids learn to stay close to Jesus and listen to God, they can experience greater peace, confidence, and assurance that they are loved and valuable, even in a noisy and chaotic world.

Memory Verse: My sheep listen to my voice. I know them, and they follow me. (John 10:27 NIrV)

Middle School (7th-8th)

Series: Let's Eat.

Series Description: Let’s Eat explores three meals from the Gospel of Luke where Jesus meets people in their anxiety, distractions, struggles, and grief and invites them toward peace and transformation. Through the stories of Mary and Martha, Zacchaeus, and the disciples on the road to Emmaus, students will consider what competes with God, what steals their peace, and how their faith should impact the way they live. Ultimately, the series invites every student to pull up a chair with Jesus, receive the lasting peace He offers, and leave the table ready to share their faith with others.
