NextGen Student Ministries
NextGen is the place where students can come to connect with each other and God. We gather for weekly youth group on Sunday nights. We also have activities throughout the year where our students and leaders can build relationships and have fun. NextGen is family. Come join us!

What's Being Taught!
Here is what we will be discussing with yours students this month of May!

The Bridge (5-6th)
Series: Eye Spy
Series Description: God took the initiative to send Jesus Jesus because of our sin. Jesus came so that we could be brought back into a relationship with God, making things right again. When we see a need and choose to do something about it, people can see the reality of God’s love for them.
Theme: Initiative – Seeing what needs to be done and doing it.
Memory Verse: None of you should look out just for your own good. Each of you should also look out for the good of others. Philippians 2:4 NIrV

Middle School (7th-8th)
Series: Spiritual Gifts
Series Description: We are exploring, discovering and discussing spiritual gifts with our middle schoolers! We had realized as a team that this is something that hasn’t been discussed and we wanted to talk about all of them and how it is a part of being the body of Christ.
Memory Verse: “Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities , but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 ESV

High School (9th-12th)
Series: Rhythms
Series Description: Spiritual Disciplines are non-negotiable rhythms of a healthy life with Jesus. This five-week series focuses on five unique practices of varying spiritual disciplines that will enrich students’ faith walk.
Silence & Solitude, Confession, Study, Prayer & Fasting, and Service
NextGen Compassion Sponsorship
We want our students to develop generosity and believe that generosity takes practice. NextGen wants to provide a space for this. Every week at youth group we will receive an offering. In addition to giving in-person the students can also give online. Use the "other" category to give.
NextGen sponsors in Guatemala through Compassion International: Carlos. Our weekly giving will go towards the on-going sponsorship of Carlos.
