NextGen Student Ministries
NextGen is the place where students can come to connect with each other and God. We gather for weekly youth group on Sunday nights. We also have activities throughout the year where our students and leaders can build relationships and have fun. NextGen is family. Come join us!

What's Being Taught!
Here is what we will be discussing with yours students this month of March!

The Bridge (5-6th)
Series: Cast and Crew
Series Description: God created us to works together in community. When we cooperate, we reflect what Jesus envisioned for His followers. Our love for one another can point people back to Jesus.
Theme: Cooperation – Working together to do more than you can do alone.
Memory Verse: “Two people are better than one. They can help each other in everything they do.” Ecclesiastes 4:9 NIrV

Middle School (7th-8th)
Series: Spiritual Gifts
Series Description: We are exploring, discovering and discussing spiritual gifts with our middle schoolers! We had realized as a team that this is something that hasn’t been discussed and we wanted to talk about all of them and how it is a part of being the body of Christ.
Memory Verse: “Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities , but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.” 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 ESV

High School (9th-12th)
Series: Read My Lips
Series Description: The power of life and death is found in our words! The book of Proverbs has a lot to say about how wisdom and our lips are directly connected. This four-week series will unpack what Scripture says about our lips in the book of Proverbs and how we can make our lips godly!
Memory Verse: “On the lips of him who has understanding, wisdom is found, but a rod is for the back of him who lacks sense. The wise lay up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool brings ruin near.” Proverbs 10:13-14 ESV

NextGen Compassion Sponsorship
We want our students to develop generosity and believe that generosity takes practice. NextGen wants to provide a space for this. Every week at youth group we will receive an offering. In addition to giving in-person the students can also give online. Use the "other" category to give.
NextGen sponsors three children in Guatemala through Compassion International: Anyeli, Saraí, and Walter. Our weekly giving will go towards the on-going sponsorship of these children.
