NextGen Student Ministries
NextGen is the place where students can come to connect with each other and God. We gather for weekly youth group on Sunday nights. We also have activities throughout the year where our students and leaders can build relationships and have fun. NextGen is family. Come join us!

NextGen Summer 2025

What's Being Taught!
Here is what we will be discussing with yours students this Summer!

The Bridge (5-6th)
Series: Live it Out
Series Description: Jesus is the greatest example of what it looks like to value others. Through the way He lived His life, Jesus taught us how to value one another. And when we follow Jesus, God’s Spirit helps us to live like Jesus—transforming not only us but the world around us.
Theme: Live It Out: With Jesus we can help change the world.
Memory Verse: As you deal with one another, you should think and act as Jesus did. (Philippians 2:5, NIrV)

Middle School (7th-8th)
Series: Burning Questions
Series Description: We want to hear from the students their questions about the Bible!
Memory Verse: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” – Matthew 7:7-8 NIV

High School (9th-12th)
Series: Students Choice
Series Description: Before summer started, we asked students what did they want to learn this summer! We heard them and here are the topics we are going through this summer!
- Barabbas – the prisoner released by Pontius Pilate
- What does it mean to love God?
- How do we talk about the Christian faith with people of other religions?
- Free will – do we truly have it, or does God control everything?
- The Trinity
- Spiritual Gifts
- What is our worldview vs. a Biblical worldview?
- Slavery in the Bible/Racism
NextGen Compassion Sponsorship
We want our students to develop generosity and believe that generosity takes practice. NextGen wants to provide a space for this. Every week at youth group we will receive an offering. In addition to giving in-person the students can also give online. Use the "other" category to give.
NextGen sponsors in Guatemala through Compassion International: Carlos. Our weekly giving will go towards the on-going sponsorship of Carlos.
