NextGen Student Ministries
NextGen is the place where students can come to connect with each other and God. We gather for weekly youth group on Sunday nights. We also have activities throughout the year where our students and leaders can build relationships and have fun. NextGen is family. Come join us!

What's Being Taught!
Here is what we will be discussing with yours students this Month!
The Bridge (5-6th)
Series: Live Bright
Series Description: God’s compassion for us led to the greatest act of love the world has ever seen. God sent Jesus to rescue us. We reflect God’s compassion when we care about others and work to make things right.
Theme – Compassion – Caring enough to do something about someone else’s needs
Memory Verse – “Let your light shine so others can see it. Then they will see the good things you do. And they will bring glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 NIrV
Middle School (7th-8th)
Series: Child of God
Series Description: Finding our identity in Christ changes how we not only view ourselves but how we treat others. This month, we will discover what it means to be a Child of God and how that affects you in every way!
Memory Verse – “But to all who have received him- those who believe in his name – he has given the right to become God’s children.” John 1:12 NET
High School (9th-12th)
Series: The Attributes of God
Series Description: In order for us to understand who we are in Christ, we must first learn who God is. We will be exploring the many attributes of God and how they all point to His love for His children.
Memory Verse: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1: 1-5 NIV
NextGen Compassion Sponsorship
We want our students to develop generosity and believe that generosity takes practice. NextGen wants to provide a space for this. Every week at youth group we will receive an offering. In addition to giving in-person the students can also give online. Use the "other" category to give.
NextGen sponsors three children in Guatemala through Compassion International: Anyeli, Saraí, and Walter. Our weekly giving will go towards the on-going sponsorship of these children.
