Class- Origins: God's Church Through the Ages

Tuesday Evening   |

Eric Bloom

Have you ever wondered, “As the church, how did we get from Jesus saying ‘Go and make disciples’ to today? What was God up to in his church after the Apostles died? Where did all these traditions and denominations come from?”

Over the course of 7 weeks, we will be exploring Church History from the end of the 1st century through the Middle Ages. Using Bruce Shelley’s Church History in Plain Language, we will answer the above questions and more all while looking at the good, the bad, and the ugly of Church History. This class will not only be informative, but also engaging, stirring, and challenging. By the end of the course we will come to see:

Even in the midst of messy people, God still draws people to himself and preserves his church. For all time.
